Check out the article the Concordia Engineering Dept did about us! Here is an article from the Associated press mentioning that the ocean temperatures are rising dramatically. This is not a good sign for us in the short term as racers. Drinking water is going to be a high priority - and if the desalinator pump breaks down, we're screwed. In the long term, this ocean warming will change the chemistry of the ocean and increase evaporation. Which as a result - a chain reaction of killing off food supplies for the fish and increase of ocean bacteria. Here is a video below: What's going on so far! 08/21/2009

We are now offering the Offshore/Advanced First Aid Course in conjunction with Jim Ongena. This course is designed for those who spend time in the outdoors exposed to the elements and far from the assistance of the 911 EMS systems. It is for outdoor leaders and responsible wilderness users who know that accidents happen and that medical help may be days away. This is not similar to a St. Johns or a Red Cross course!
