Here is our article from Concordia!

Hey everyone!

We have been extremely busy getting the boat ready, organizing events and going to interviews. On top of our full time jobs, it's been really hectic.

I would like to remind everyone that the Tilley Endurables wine and cheese event is coming up in Brossard on September 29th.

We are also having a fundraising dinner at Restaurant L'Ambroisie featuring Tania Aebi - who at 18 years old sailed around the world alone. It's definitely going to be an interesting night full of stories!

We just came out of the Concordia University photo shoot for their paper. Here are the photos courtesy of the university!

We just came back from an interview with Concordia's Communication team! We will be featured across the Concordia engineering website, the Alumni magazine and the Concordia Journal! Will let you know when it is posted!

So Rob, Mike and I went to see Sheldon at the Concordia's Electrical Engineering Department to discuss how we can power up all our electrical equipment without running out of juice...

Sheldon was definitely excited by the project. one of the major issues was the desalinator pump...As we are three people in the boat, the pump will be working overtime in providing us clean water.

Rob had the idea of using our rowing seats as a pump and hook it up to the desalinator - using our movement to provide us with clean water as we row. Sheldon agreed, providing us with the help of his graduate team to not only get the desalination pump installed, but also to find the batteries and other electrical equipment.

This is a great start!
