LASIK MD has agreed to provide our team with an eye surgery certificate (value of $3500) that we can auction on behalf of the Childrens Wish Foundation and the race! We will be sharing the proceeds 50/50 with the charity.

Here are the details:

Time:
The auction will be held starting May 14th, 2009 and will end at September 30, 2009. We will make the final decision on September 30, 2009 530pm based on the highest amount bid.

Participation:

• full name
• phone number
• mailing address
• your auction bid.

1) We will update, every day, on the charity webpage; the highest bid of the day ( we will not post the name or contact information of the person who posted the highest bid, only the bid amount)

2) You can bid as many times as you want throughout the length of the auction.

3) As the proceeds are shared by both us and the charity, there will be a minimum bid of $1000. Any bids lower will not be considered.

4) The winner of the auction will be notified by phone. In the event that the winner does not respond within 30 days, the next highest bid will be the winner. We will then provide you with the details on how you can get your LASIK MD surgery.

The surgery is graciously provided by Dr. Mounir Bashour and the LASIK MD team. Dr. Bashour has performed over 50,000 surgeries in Canada.He was amongst the first ophthalmologists to perform laser refractive procedures in the USA and is also a member of the Canadian Ophthalmology Society.
