Alok Chowdhury
Alok Chowdhury has always been a risk taker and loves to push his mental and physical limits. He is an athlete, having competed in rugby and various martial arts. An avid beach bum, he will spend as much time on the beach as he can, which he will miss terribly once on the ocean.
He is the founder of Fluide Media, a marketing agency in Montreal.
Robert Idsinga
Robert Idsinga is a seasoned adventurer with experience in sailing, white water kayaking, mountaineering and ice climbing. His expertise as an electronics designer and ham radio enthusiast makes him a valuable asset in the design of the electrical and communications systems on the Ocean Challenger. Robert is also an occasional contributing writer to the magazine Lattitudes and Attitudes.
Alex Nicholson is a 33 year old British photographer who lives in Montreal, Quebec, and has been paddling kayaks for 23 years, including large amounts of white water in Canada, the UK, New Zealand and the States, and is a veteran of numerous long back county ski expeditions and rock and ice climbing ascents in both the Canadian Rockies as well as in Eastern Canada and the US. As an avid sailor he has spent months on the sea and has crossed the Atlantic Ocean by sailboat, including sailing from Florida to Cuba. Alex’s greatest love in life is exploring the world’s wild places.
